Habbo Hotel Adventure!

There's this UGS kinda place online, called Habbo Hotel. You guys should have heard about it by now, since Shane Ward did a release on the US version some time ago, and U2 had a concert there ... ages back. Plus Wandkey played Habbo Hotel back when she was super bored after the SPM!

So a few minutes ago me and Sam decided to check it out - the singaporian version, that is.

We logged in, and started laughing our heads off.

I mean, who can stand such lego-ish graphics? This is SOO cute! So we wondered around a bit (i'm the guy in green, Sam the girl in purple), got kicked out of a game room and then went to this welcome lounge ... which was empty. It had some unhelpful Harry dude, how was supposed to help us but just repeated boring bot quips.

Okaaay.

We then took a lift up to the roof, after Sam checked out the (unfurnished) UGS room i created in the hotel. Then we sat down on the roof ... and the fun began.

It was seriously stupid. Most of the game world worked on Habbo credits - money you've got to buy at 0.60 ringgit per credit. So we could only sit. And talk. And count with each other.

We're sitting next to each other and crapping, true UGS style. Can you spot us?

Anyway, there were these two lovebirds singing I love yous and darlingggs and will be mine forever. So, me being me, i decided to butt in. Sam didn't want to, at first, but after a while we started speaking bahasa Sarawak, to the amusement of many.

So then those two lovebirds started saying me annoying. And i gracefully accepted their complaints with Divious-like diplomacy. Which basically means i tried to be as annoying as feasibly possible.

It was crazy. It was commercialised. It is so not Runescape. Sam and i think it's surreal. Why don't you go try it?

"I can sit!"
