Trolley Wood by Eisley

Hi. If you're from Malaysia chances are, you've never heard of Eisley. Nor their song Trolley Wood.

Am I wrong? I might be.

Eisley, not to be confused with Mos Eisley which is a spaceport town in on the planet Tatooine in the Star Wars universe, is an indie pop band of four sibling and a cousin from Tyler, Texas.

Listen to this song. It's happy isn't it? With all the Halleluja's ( It's not a Christian song FYI ) and the snapping of fingers. The happiness of this song is EXACTLY what's so appealing.

Nowadays all the songs you hear on the radio, on MTV, Channel V, Hitz.TV etc and etc are all so angry, sad, depressing, notahappyemotion-y. A guy crooning over his lost girl. A girl heartbroken over an unattainable guy, a transexual random singer moaning about unfaithfulness.

If it isn't things like that, then it'll be some rapper rapping about how he's got all his girls around his fingers, bringing her to his "candyshop" so on and so forth. Or a girl group singing about how happy they are to be on a love train that's gonna crash into the wall of reality when they disband Whee~!

So, a euphoric, happy song like Trolley Wood is definitely a nice change.

So, out one day
Walking one day

Out one day with you hallelujah.

I was here Halleluja
